VANCOUVER, Canada – A new line of optics cleaning products for drones was introduced by LensPen at InterDrone 2017 in Las Vegas. LensPen, with its proprietary carbon-cleaning technology, has been used by photographers and outdoor enthusiasts to clean their lenses and fine optics for more than 25 years.

“The same carbon-cleaning technology that has kept camera lenses clean for a quarter century is ideal for cleaning lenses and optics on drones,” Ryan Keating, Vice President of Sales, said. “Our proprietary carbon-cleaning technology safely and effectively removes dust and grease.”

Drone lenses come in different sizes, and so does LensPen which offers four different products for cleaning drone lenses and filters. And they all clean in two simple steps. First, use the retractable natural brush to remove any loose dust. If grease or fingerprints remain, twist the cap off on the other end and use the carbon-infused cleaning tip to completely clean the lens. Sprays, tissues and cloths are not needed. “A microfiber cloth will not completely clean a lens,” Keating said. “A LensPen will.”

LensPen is no stranger to airborne photography. NASA uses LensPen products to clean lenses and other precision optics on the International Space Station.

“Our cleaning technology is endorsed by NASA, the United States Marine Corps, Nikon and many other top camera, binocular and scope manufacturers,” Keating said. “They co-brand with us because they know LensPen is safe for lens coatings and works in the toughest environments – even 250 miles in the air!”

LensPen products are environmentally friendly, effective in desert heat and arctic cold, and have no expiration date.
